Home Energy Grants
Home energy grants are made available by the Sustainable Energy Association of Ireland (SEAI) to homeowners and landlords who are carrying our energy-efficient works to their properties.
Luca Line Services, as a SEAI registered company, are in the position to help clients throughout Leinster secure home energy grants by completing works that result in more energy-efficient, warm, and comfortable homes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What do I need to apply for a home energy grant?
Determining what area of your property you would like to upgrade is the first step. If you are unsure about your needs then give us a call and we can offer you advice and make a recommendation.
Luca Line Services will then provide you with a quote as well as our installer number. Clients should then apply for their grant on the SEAI website. You must have a grant approval before beginning any work on your home and the work must be completed within six months of approval.
Once the work is completed, Luca Line Services will provide you with a Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate that you will submit back to the SEAI. The grant will then be paid into your account.
Once I have been approved for any home energy grants, how is the money issued to me?
This will depend on how you have secured the grant. If you have done it through Luca Line Services, we will have handled most of the paperwork and deducted it from your final bill.
Or, if you managed the process yourself, you will be able to draw down the grant amount once works have been completed and the property has undertaken a post upgrades BER audit.
Does it matter how old my home is?
Grants are only available if your house was built before 2006. However, grants for heat pump systems and solar thermal are available to all homeowners, including landlords, whose homes were built and occupied before 2011.
